Everyone Deserves a Hot Meal During the Holidays
In 2015, the American Farm Bureau found that the average cost of a Christmas dinner was $50. This meal included a turkey and common sides such as stuffing and sweet potatoes. This price also assumes that the meal is being cooked at home. It does not account for the fact that many of the impoverished are not able to cook for themselves.

This price is cost prohibitive for many who fall below the poverty line. We at Holiday Helpers are dedicating ourselves to bringing awareness to to this issue and connecting citizens with organizations that can ensure these people get the hot meal they deserve during the holidays.
